The challenge: 

The firm, with over 25 employees operating across two sites, faced inconsistent HR processes, leading to confusion around policies, compliance risks, and a lack of confidence among managers and employees.

The outcome: 

  • As a result, employee satisfaction increased from 60% in 2021 to 78% in 2023, while employee turnover reduced from 20% to 14% over the same period.
  • Feedback from employee engagement surveys showed significant improvements, with employees agreeing they receive training and support to do their job well, increasing from 55% to 95%, satisfaction with opportunities for progression rising from 45% to 80%, and meaningful recognition for strong performance increasing from 65% to 80%.
  • Managers now report feeling more confident handling HR matters, with clearer frameworks in place, and the business continues to receive ongoing HR support to remain compliant and well-equipped for future people challenges.
